Becca fell in love with yoga after a friend coaxed her to class with the promise of happy hour afterwards in 2014. She left dripping in sweat, sore, and confused but knew she had go to back. She initially enjoyed the physical practice, linking breath and movement, but realized yoga is so much more than the physical practice as she cultivated inner peace, strength and community on and off the mat.
Students can expect thoughtfully sequenced flows drawn from Becca’s own practice and study of Power yoga, Rocket vinyasa yoga and Ashtanga. Her down to earth, compassionate, and friendly teaching style allows students to meet themselves on their mat, with whatever they are feeling and find their edge in a fun, don’t-take-yourself-too-seriously, safe space.
Becca completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with Yoga Heights with Jess Pierno and Angela Meyer in 2017 and is certified to teach The Rocket Vinyasa System, studying 100 hours with Patrick McCleaf and David Kyle. Becca currently practices Ashtanga under the guidance of Michael Joel Hall. She is grateful to her teachers and students who continue to inspire her practice each time she steps on to her mat.
When not on her mat, you can find her at a music show, rock climbing, gardening, baking bread or hanging out with her husband, Sean, rescue pup Disco, and their rescue cats, Gustavo and Peppers.
